What we collect

You can browse Brighton Pub Deals without giving us any personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

If you submit a deal, we store the deal details and, if you give it, your email address. We use your email only to tell you when your deal goes live. It is never shown on the site and never sold or shared for marketing.

If you report a deal, we store the deal and the reason you give. We don't ask for your name or email when you report.

If you would like your email address removed, email us and we will delete it.

Services we use

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf only to provide their service:

• Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and browser details to serve pages.
• Supabase stores the deals, reports and submitter email addresses in our database.
• Resend sends the “your deal is live” email, so it receives your email address and the deal details.
• Google Maps shows the interactive map, and Google Fonts and Fontshare provide the site’s fonts. Your browser contacts these services directly, so they receive your IP address.

Cookies

Google Maps may set cookies and collect data in line with Google's privacy policy.

We set one strictly necessary cookie (admin_session) when a site administrator logs in. It is never set for regular visitors.

Location data

If you allow location access on the map, your location is used only to show a marker on the map. It is never sent to our servers or stored.
